YOU MAY BE ASKING...WHY DO I NEED A BOOKKEEPER?

1. TO HELP YOU KEEP GOOD RECORDS

There are several reasons why you need a good bookkeeper, but we've narrowed it down to three great reasons.

Good records will help monitor the progess of your business, prepare your financial statements, identify sourcs of income, keep track of deductible expenses, keep track of your basis in property, prepary your tax returns and support items reported on your tax returns.

2. TO AVOID HEADACHES AT TAX TIME

The responsibility to substantiate entries, deductions and statements made on your tax return is known as the burden of proof. You muist be able to prove certain elements of expenses to deduct them. Purchases, sales, payroll and other transactions you have in your business generate supporting documents.

3. TO KEEP UNCLE SAM (IRS) HAPPY

The IRS is known to examine (audit) tax returns to verify the tax information reported is correct. The IRS examines many corporate returns anually. An examination may be conducted by mail or through an in-person interview and review of the taxpayer's records. The interview may be at an IRS office or the taxpayer's home, place of business or accoutant's office. Having your records organized by professionals like us can spped up the audit process and prevent errors or misunderstandings.
